· Registration for the 2026 BEER CITY OPEN will once again be using a Lottery System. Registration will be open beginning Sunday, April 19th at 8:00pm and run until Thursday, April 23rd at 11:55pm. You may register at any point during this period. Timing of your registration will not impact the lottery results which are scheduled to be released on or before Monday, May 4th.

· You must indicate a partner at registration to be considered for entry into any doubles event.

· If you are successful, you will be given a short period of time for you and your partner to make payment or you will automatically be moved to the Waitlist.

· The 2026 BCO will be USA Pickleball Sanctioned and will be using USA Pickleball Rules for everything including paddles. · You may click on Here to Sign Up or Renew your USA Pickleball Membership. A USA Pickleball Challenger Membership is what you need and it’s only $12/year.

· USA Pickleball Challenger Level Benefits Include:

  • Eligibility to play in USA Pickleball–sanctioned tournaments, Golden Tickets, and Nationals

  • Receive the Digital Pickleball Magazine and yearly instructional guide

  • A free sleeve of Franklin X-40 balls, new members only

  • Access to tailored educational content and exclusive member emails

  • Participation in the Tiered Point System (TPS), where you earn points for playing in sanctioned events

· We will be using DUPR for registration and seeding.

· The BCO is typically a very tough tournament, we strongly recommend playing at the appropriate skill level. Lottery results

will be random and not determined by a person’s rating, however the Tournament Committee reserves the right to make adjustments if they feel someone is registered for an event significantly above, or below, their skill level.

· A Grounds Pass will be required to enter the Pickleball Facility on the days Major League Pickleball plays their Mid-Season Tournament Matches during Thursday - Sunday. Daily passes will be available in advance and at the gate. Ages 8 and under are free.

· Players and Volunteers will get a free Grounds Pass for days they play or volunteer.
